Vertical angles

Definition

In geometry, a pairs of angles is sayid to be vertical is if the angles are formed by two intersecting lines and angles are not adjacen. They all share a vertix. Those angles are conqruent and therefore equal in measure

Vertical Line Theorem

When two straight lines intersect a point, four angles are formad. The nonadjacent angles are called vertical or ooposite angles. Also, each pair of adjacent angles form a straight line and are supplemenaty. Since any pair of vertical angles are supplementary to either of the adjecent angles, the vertical angles are congruent.
